Photographic Portfolio

Lia Santelmo Portfolio

Synopsis

This is a a photography project for an artist's portfolio. The project involved taking photographs at the artist's workplace and in a photography studio with artificial lighting equipment. Once the photographs were captured, they were edited to achieve the final result presented.

The main goal of the project was to showcase the artist's work through high-quality photographs that highlighted the details and intricacies of each piece. To achieve this, I used a combination of natural and artificial lighting to capture the artwork in different settings, providing a range of perspectives and styles.

The photoshoot at the artist's workplace involved capturing the artist in action, working on her pieces and showing her creative process. This allowed for a more personal touch to the portfolio, as viewers could get a glimpse into the artist's world and how she works.

In the photography studio, we had access to advanced lighting equipment that allowed us to create a controlled environment for capturing the artwork. This allowed for more consistency in the final product, as the lighting could be adjusted to highlight specific features of each piece.

Finally, the post-production editing stage was crucial in achieving the desired outcome. The editing process included color correction, adjusting contrast and brightness, and removing any imperfections or distractions from the background.

Overall, the project was a success, and the final portfolio showcased the artist's work beautifully. The combination of different settings, lighting techniques, and post-production editing resulted in a cohesive and visually appealing body of work.
